May 1st:
AM scale reading : 164 pounds (I know it's bad for 5'1... but funny enough, not as bad as I thought !)
Wake up feeling : not too bad... a bit stiff, but overall not a bad morning

Unfortunately May 1st also included a big family celebration with lots (and lots) of food and desserts. Although I did indulge more than I should have, all things considered I did ok. Could not resist the tripple chocolate cheesecake or the sugar cookies. I did manage to stop at a small slice of cake and only one sugar cookie.
That said, I am convinced that sugar is a big contributer to joint stiffness, and low and behold, today (May 2nd), I woke up feeling extremely stiff in my joints.
Thankfully I am off work to day and have already done 20 minutes of stationary bike (which always helps).
